A key chapter in French fashion history.

Founded in 1958 by Jacqueline and Elie Jacobson, Dorothée Bis redefined vintage fashion with a joyful, modern and accessible approach to dress.

At the heart of the house: knitwear.
From graphic sweaters to dresses and hand knitted coats, with bold patterns, Lurex, and vibrant colors reminiscent of Sonia Delaunay.

A vision of fashion that was free, wearable, and ahead of its time. Still incredibly relevant for today’s fashion collectors and vintage lovers.

Including iconic references such as the dress seen in William Klein’s 《Who Are You, Polly Magoo?》

Nearly 380 pieces spanning over 30 years of creation, presented by PENELOPE’S.
