Moji Farhat’s is undoubtedly one of them. With his eagle eye, eye for detail and intimate knowledge of the history of fashion and its images, Moji doesn’t just collect, he deciphers, assembles and reveals. <\/p>\n

From the obvious to the most unexpected pieces, Moji Farhat casts his lot with almost instinctive precision. His universe crosses the decades with total freedom. Rare documentation, studio sketches, runway show invitations, annotated photographs, lookbooks, sumptuously embroidered textiles, historical magazines, garments and accessories – all fragments that make up a living memory of fashion. <\/p>\n

We come across Jean-Paul Gaultier, whose many preparatory drawings bear witness to a mind in motion, Comme des Gar\u00e7ons and its collaborations with the greatest photographers, Thierry Mugler, Claude Montana, Yohji Yamamoto, Issey Miyake, or Lesage embroideries and paper archives linked to Dior, Schiaparelli or Jean Dess\u00e8s – all milestones in a cross-disciplinary and erudite history, crisscrossed by his obsessions.<\/p>\n

What’s striking, beyond the eclecticism, is the accuracy. Each piece seems chosen for what it says, for what it reveals in a gesture, in a silhouette – a pivotal moment. <\/p>\n
