Between 2001 and 2005, Hedi Slimane, Artistic Director of Dior Homme, revolutionized the world of men’s jewelry. His vision is that of a minimalist, miniaturist aesthetic, rigorous and architectural, inspired by his passion for music, particularly concerts. <\/p>


The 150 pieces in this collection testify to an avant-garde approach that appropriates genuine know-how to create the exceptional. Hedi Slimane explores innovative techniques in men’s jewelry, calling on goldsmiths such as Arthus Bertrand. He develops polishing, engraving, laser-cutting and stamping processes that reveal the purity and depth of shapes. He injects rubber into the famous Jack<\/i> clasp, evoking the plugs used to connect audio instruments. Lacquer and enamel are also worked with precision for delicate finishes, drawing heraldic coats-of-arms or fine ties emblematic of his streamlined silhouettes. <\/p>


Iconic pieces include the Solitaire<\/i> and Mediator<\/i> pendants, the Blood Wound<\/i> breastplate necklace embroidered by the Montex atelier, the Hedi<\/i> and Follow Me<\/i> brooches, the subversive G\u00e9lules<\/i> cufflinks and Comprim\u00e9s<\/i> brooches, long necklaces with tubular beads, ultra-flat cuffs and articulated rings paved with crystals, notably worn by Karl Lagerfeld.<\/p>
