Between 2001 and 2005, Hedi Slimane, Artistic Director of Dior Homme, revolutionized the world of men’s jewelry. His vision is that of a minimalist, miniaturist aesthetic, rigorous and architectural, inspired by his passion for music, particularly concerts.

The 150 pieces in this collection testify to an avant-garde approach that appropriates genuine know-how to create the exceptional. Hedi Slimane explores innovative techniques in men’s jewelry, calling on goldsmiths such as Arthus Bertrand. He develops polishing, engraving, laser-cutting and stamping processes that reveal the purity and depth of shapes. He injects rubber into the famous Jack clasp, evoking the plugs used to connect audio instruments. Lacquer and enamel are also worked with precision for delicate finishes, drawing heraldic coats-of-arms or fine ties emblematic of his streamlined silhouettes.

Iconic pieces include the Solitaire and Mediator pendants, the Blood Wound breastplate necklace embroidered by the Montex atelier, the Hedi and Follow Me brooches, the subversive Gélules cufflinks and Comprimés brooches, long necklaces with tubular beads, ultra-flat cuffs and articulated rings paved with crystals, notably worn by Karl Lagerfeld.
